Where: Noble Park Community Centre

New members are always welcome, if you are interested in joining the Garden Club, please call 9547 5801 or email info@nobleparkcommunitycentre.org.au.

Bring along you excess home grown fruit, vegetables or herbs, and swap with someones elses produce.

The food swap will be a local gathering where people swap excess home-grown produce and gardening extras. Items may include fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, seeds, seedlings, gardening tips and worm juice, but may easily extend to skills shares, stories and seasonal recipes.

It will be money free and run on an honesty system. Swappers bring their produce and then ‘shop’ from the table of goods left by others. The exchange should be a fair reflection of what has been given i.e. eggs for lemons and seeds for stories.

So why no come down share delicious food, create friendships, build stronger communities, reduce waste and provide a grass roots response to food access issues.

A Noble Park Community Centre staff member will be on hand to ensure that the swap runs smoothly.
